KRSF – 89.3 FM will be an affiliate of Radio 74 Internationale as a Christian noncommercial educational radio station dedicated to community service, health education, spiritual nurturing, inspirational Christian music, and public relations for Adventist Christian School and the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Service area includes Ridgecrest, Inyokern, and Trona.
Basic 24/7 programming originates from Radio 74 in France. It is uplinked to a satellite and positioned on 3ABN Galaxy 19’s allotted space for transmission to affiliate North American stations.

Local programming can be inserted at any time. This can include sermons, church news, school news, and local community concerns. Listeners will be encouraged to support the operation of KRSF.
Based on experience gained from construction and operation of other Radio 74 affiliate stations, we expect construction cost to range from $32,000 to $40,000, with yearly operating expenses anticipated at approximately $4,000. The FCC permit, which was issued April 9, 2008, expires on April 8, 2011. Therefore, we need to act quickly.
HERE'S WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE
By Dec 1, 2010 - Transmitter tower antenna space multi-year contract negotiated and signed with monthly fee(s) specified.
By late Dec 2010 – Church constituency meeting to assess fundraising progress.
By March 1, 2011 –Funds received in full for construction of radio station project; Materials and equipment ordered and paid for.
By March 15, 2011 – Construction and installation under way.
By April 1, 2011 – Construction and installation completed.
By April 6, 2011 – KRSF-89.3 FM goes on the air in the Indian Wells Valley.
